Zero Waste School

The Zero Waste project in Senegal’s primary schools, led by Used Senegal Excelsior and Mercibao asbl, aims to enhance education through sessions on citizenship, governance, environmental and nutritional education, and urban agriculture.
The overall goal is to establish zero-waste school models, fostering sustainable practices for improved well-being. Specific objectives include governance education, environmental awareness, urban agriculture promotion, and sports participation.
The project involves a steering committee overseeing activities from November 2023 to September 2024, impacting four public schools in Pikine Est, Dakar.
