The Baobab alias the tree of life
There are 8 species scattered in Africa, Madagascar and Australia. A baobab tree can be up to 40 metres high and is able to withstand the most intense heat because it can hold up to 120,000 litres of water.
The fruit called « monkey bread » which measures 20 cm but weighs the same (about 1.5 kg) an incredible wealth of vitamin C!
And that’s not all: 3 times more calcium than a glass of milk, 6 times more potassium than bananas and 6 times more antioxidants than blackcurrants! Monkey bread is also high in fibre, iron and minerals.

FROM SEEDS TO OIL: Baobab Oil is used in skin care for dry and wrinkled skin and against chapping. It is also effective in scalp care, giving shine to dry hair. It is particularly recommended for strengthening brittle nails. It is also used in massage creams. In Africa, baobab oil is used in massage to soothe exhausted bodies.
Baobab powder can be used occasionally as a cure for fatigue thanks to its tonic and energizing properties. It is also recommended after an illness (flu, infection), during convalescence, in case of a drop in form, after an emotional shock, a drop in the immune system or during sports activities for better recovery. Useful in case of inflammatory diseases (arthrosis) and joint pain. Its interesting composition would also allow it to have a certain role to play in the muscular contraction, the good functioning of the nervous system and in the blood coagulation
